It’s a pleasure to welcome you to the   

 

 The WORLD OF DANCE was started in Basel, on the 8th of March 2010.

The WORLD OF DANCE is a group of event directors who agree to the same rules, the same dances and the same evaluation system.

With us, there is no obligation to become a member, because the World of Dance is not an association or organization.

 Having fun with dancing and competing with like minded people in competitions is our highest goal.

At the moment, there exists the German WORLD OF DANCE in Basel and the GERMAN WORLD OF DANCE in Viernheim (near Mannheim). In the future, we’re interested in expanding WOD.

The event directors of WOD have years of experience in organizing different competitions. Some of them are represented at other competitions as trainers and judges.

The regulations and rules of WOD are kept simple to give everybody the possibility to compete in the tournament.

We wish everybody fun while dancing.
